COVID-19 UPDATES

July 18, 2020

As Ontario moves into Stage 3 of Reopening, we have some changes to our reopening schedule.

Our midweek services are now open to all (no registration necessary). This includes:
Daily Devotion on Mondays to Fridays at 5:00am
Family Devotion on Saturdays at 6:30am
Bible Study on Tuesdays at 7:15pm
Prayer Meeting on Thursdays at 7:15pm

Sunday Services will follow the same system of registration (pmcc4w.ca/toworshipagain) and will still allow only 30% capacity of the worship hall, as decided by the Ontario government.

We will continue to implement and improve the proper protocols to provide the safest worship experience for all present.

For more information, contact us or your flock leaders.

June 14, 2020

The PMCC (4th Watch) of Toronto is reopening today, Sunday, June 14.

This has been decided in light of the announcement from the Ontario government which states: “All places of worship in Ontario will also be permitted to open with physical distancing in place and attendance limited to no more than 30 per cent of the building capacity to ensure the safety of worshipers.” (Effective Friday, June 12 at 12:01 AM) We will be implementing the proper protocols to provide the safest worship experience for all present.

This includes but is not limited to sanitation of entire church facilities, sanitation stations at all entrances, social distancing, mandatory use of face masks within church premises at all times, temperature check upon entry, extra precautions in communion serving. For the time being, senior citizens and children will not be permitted to attend physically.

March 21, 2020

Dear Brethren,

Greetings in the name of our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ! I hope and pray all is well with you and your family!

After much consideration and deliberation, the church elders, pastors, and I have prayerfully decided that for the next two months, we will hold ALL our Sunday Services and ALL our midweek services, including Family Devotion, online. Our morning devotions, however, will continue to take place in the church.

Although church services are still allowed by law as long as the attendance is under 50, the elders and I have agreed that we will proceed with online services to show solidarity with our community’s efforts to contain COVID-19 and to help lower the risk for church members.

As your pastor, I fully acknowledge the urgent need for the church to be more spiritually vigilant during these times. We need to keep in mind that the Word of God remains to be our greatest need of ALL time. Therefore, I strongly admonish you to join us online for ALL the services and to follow the guidelines that have been set up to help us be in the spirit of worship in our homes.

Brothers and sisters, I am fully convinced that by the grace of the Lord, we will be able to go through this challenging period, and the Lord will help us to come out of this trial purer, stronger, and more dedicated to serve the Lord.

You are all in my prayers. Take this time as well to pray for our church leaders, for me, my family and all the brothers and sisters in the Lord.

I am available for counseling should you need me. And if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me or to your flock leaders.

At Your Service,

Presbyter Joseph Concepcion

UPDATE - MARCH 18, 2020

Due to the rapidly changing situation that we face here in Canada, we will be changing a few church functions to accommodate the health and safety requirements recommend by the Canadian Government.

We will be canceling our annual Passion Play and we will be moving to an online format (Passion Update). Most, if not all PMCC (4th Watch) churches in Canada will not be holding a physical service, instead we will be having an online Passion Crusade.

As for our weekly gatherings, we will be changing our schedules according to region, please see this page for new schedules. All services will be hosting less than 50 people to abide with the new safety regulations. Seniors and children are strongly encouraged to stay home.

And those who opt to worship online via live streaming are welcome to do so.

AVIS CONCERNANT COVID-19

18 MARS 2020

COVID-19 ADVISORY

REGARDING CHURCH SAFETY & CARE - MARCH 14, 2020

As a community church, the well-being and safety of our guests, members, and staff is our first priority. The following are actions we are taking district-wide in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Please note, there have been no coronavirus (COVID-19) cases tied to any PMCC (4th Watch) churches in Canada, and the risk to our guests, members, and staff remains low. So far, we are not suspending any services such as morning devotion, midweek services, and Sunday services including future events until further notice

In line with guidelines provided by the health authorities, we have further reinforced our cleanliness measures, including but not limited to:

  • Sanitizing all high-frequency touch-points in addition to regular cleaning procedures before and after service.
  • Nightly cleaning that sanitizes pews and rest areas, including all children and nursing areas.
  • Ensuring hand sanitizing stations are filled and available to everyone that attends.
  • Foregoing the usual handshaking as form of greeting and employing other means instead, such as waving, bowing or simply smiling.
  • Communion servers to use protective latex-free gloves and handing the bread and the cup individually.

To make worship more convenient for members or guests that have compromised immune systems and/or with chronic health issues, virtual options are readily available. Please note that these options should be used ONLY IF you are not able to attend the services due to flu-like symptoms or compromised immune systems.

AVIS CONCERNANT COVID-19

Presbyter Joseph Concepcion
